An alphabet picture hunt with real-world objects

Connect a clear alphabet picture with a familiar object, an English word and a Hindi meaning through a short shared activity.

Look at one picture

Open Learn and choose an English alphabet card. Look at its shape and useful details before pressing Listen. For an apple, notice the rounded fruit, its stem and its leaf. Say the word together, then use Slow if another listen would help. There is no need to finish the whole alphabet in one sitting.

Find a meaningful match

Look around the room for a familiar safe object linked to a card: a ball, a jug or a watch. The real object will not look exactly like the picture. Compare a useful feature rather than expecting an identical colour or shape. An adult should handle anything fragile or unsuitable for a young child.

Use both languages naturally

Read the English word and its Hindi meaning. A family can also say the word in another language used at home. The device voice may differ from a family’s accent; uploaded pronunciation audio can provide the voice a teacher prefers. Do not confuse hearing a whole word with hearing the isolated phonics sound.

Choose another kind of response

A child might point, name the object, act it out or find a matching picture. Save a favourite card to revisit later, then finish with an off-screen conversation. The new alphabet pack uses original photo-style AI images, not camera photographs; parents can replace any image with a suitable licensed photograph in the admin studio.
